Sony at IFA Berlin 2008

A prime exhibition space spanning 50 000 square meters inside the Berlin Messe centre. A magical white wood, built from scratch, surrounded by over 3000 Sony products in tailor-made shelves. And all that with exactly three months time to plan and build…

After winning the pitch for the Sony exhibition at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) Berlin 2008, London-based creative agency Freestate asked me to create the graphics for this exhibition. This included designing all directional signage and product labelling while overseeing production/installation. Thanks to an amazing assembly of graphic designers we got all of this done on time, and it looked pretty spectacular!

The projekt won a Bronze Design Lion at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes and a Merit award from the Art Director’s Club New York.
